about

"Polaroid" is inspired from band member Aaron Sandberg's poem of the same name. Originally, it was our goal to create an album using short stories and poems and turn them into songs. "Polaroid," "Impossible Grave," and "Joel Found His Angel" are three songs that stayed true to this concept. "Polaroid" was slated as the opening track to WBYFWYD until late in the production of the album. Here it is in a slightly modified and improved version.

lyrics

They snapped and they stole every second / until they ran out of film / and found themselves treading in moments passed / presently unblurring toward some future.

Bullets in Madison Chicago, Illinois

Bullets in Madison is an indie-experimental band from the suburbs of Chicago. With a cinematic and orchestral sensibility, their songs center on ambient, key-driven tones. Their sound encompasses everything from brass, guitars, glockenspiel, and violins. Taking from the school of Broken Social Scene, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, and M83, Bullets in Madison crafts dark, dense, and epical soundscapes. ... more
